My little tomato made it. Yes, I’ve now had more success with a tomato plant growing out of a crack in the sidewalk vs. any of the ones I’ve ever planted. I made a little caprese salad with it and substituted homemade pesto for fresh basil leaves. I had to pick the other tomatoes still green right before our first frost.
Hooray!! I am glad you did a follow-up on this little guy. I had the same thing happen with a sunflower - right after I had tried to grow several of them. It must be spite.
