Click on the image above to see a very moving video made by Todd and Diane of the White on Rice Couple blog. I found it via my favorite food blog Food Wishes. The film was made as a tribute to a husband of a popular food blogger, Jennifer Perillo (In Jennie's Kitchen). Jennifer's husband, Mikey, just died of a sudden heart attack . When others asked what they could do to help, she responded that they could make a peanut butter pie for Mikey (his favorite). Days before he died, she had that on her to do list but hadn't gotten around to it. The video is overlayed with twitter messages from other food bloggers sending their condolences to Jennifer.
It's a very sad story, but one that reminds us to live and love every day as if there is no tomorrow.
This is a very sweet post and sad story. It is a good reminder that everyone needs. Oh, and the pie sounds good. :)
